If you are looking to live in pure luxury on a family safari to Africa then we have the best safari park in Africa for you to take a look at. If money is no object we would thoroughly recommend this safari lodge as the best place to stay in Africa with the rest of your family.

Luxury Kenya Safaris – Camp Jabulani

Camp Jabulani is the jewel in the crown of African safaris, located in South Africa this safari is not to be missed, simply magnificant.

Located in the Kampambe Private Game Reserve the 12,000 hectare park borders the Kruger National Park and is Big Five game reserve.

Apart from the Big Five, Camp Jabulani is home to all sorts of mammals from wild dog and monkeys to giraffe and bush pigs. A place that quite simply you can not afford to miss out on.

The safaris are on elephant back and unlike many other safari parks in the region the resort boasts added extras which really make this place stand out as a cracking safari park.

Along with each suite having its own pool, spa and jacuzi the resraurant serves food that would not be out of place at a michelin star restaturant in the UK for a fraction of the price. Camp Jabulani truely is one of the best safari parks in Africa.

Our top tips for Kenya safaris

Taking a holiday in Kenya is a must for all people interesting in an outdoor holiday, something a bit different and those in search of a luxury holiday off the beaten track and away from large numbers of holiday makers. So that said we have compiled our top 5 tips for making the most of your Kenya safaris:

1 – Research your location – Do as much research into your destination as possible, safaris in Kenya vary vastly from place to place so make sure you find one that suits you.

2 – Be prepared – If you need jabs get them as soon as possible and make sure you are fully equipped with the essentials as in Kenya the temperature can reach 45 degrees with ease.

3 – Make the most of it – Generally on safari parks the order of the day is to start early so make sure you get up early and be ready for the morning trips out when the lions are still hunting!

4 – Interact with the staff – the staff on safari parks are often locals who used to live within the walls of the safari parks in Kenya so their knowledge is vastly valuable, they may take you out on foot during the day when the predators are generally less active for a thrilling trip amongst the animals

5 – Follow the rules – Most if not all safari lodges, villas and parks are located right in the middle of the safari walls, they are amongst the animals and offer limited protection from animals walking straight by your bedroom. In most cases there is no problems as guides will often walk you to and form you rooms at night accompanies by a gun just in case! Though this may put some people off, for us this is part of the excitement and attraction of safaris in Kenya.

Fancy a safari in Kenya?

Compared to other holidays Kenya safaris look expensive from the outset but the large proportion of the money you will need is in the initial cost and compared to the average summer family holiday in Spain the cost of living once you get to your safari in Kenya is very minimal.
